STATUTORY DECLARATION ON INSTITUTION WEBSITE

UNDER SEC-4(1)(B) OF RTI ACT 2005

Citizens can seek information regarding the activities of the college by submitting a written request with details like Name, address, contact telephone number and particulars of the information sought. The reason for seeking information need not be given. The duly signed request may be addressed to the Public Information Officer, Hingalganj Mahavidyalaya, PO: Hingalganj, 24 Parganas North, West Bengal, PIN: 743435, along with the required fee of Rs.10/-. Copies of documents will be charged according to the rate fixed by the State Information Commission, West Bengal. If the reply is not received in time or if the information is not given, you can tender appeal to the First Appellate Authority, West Bengal State University.

Annexure AT : Scholarships, Benefits and Assistance As per existing Government Order, 22%, 6%, 10% and 7% of seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC(A) and OBC (B) applicants respectively during admission to various courses. The students may receive SC/ST Scholarship, provided their eligibility is validated. There is an exclusive committee for welfare of Backward Class students to facilitate government and NGO assistance. Students belonging to Minority Community are also given assistance. The female students may avail of the KanyashreePrakalpa Scholarship, provided they meet the eligibility conditions. Concessions from Tution Fees and Grants from Poor-Aid Fund are available to meritorious students from lower income groups. Students are provided with Railway Concession Facilities on application. Other than this, College Students enjoy subsidized fare in buses plying on the Hingalganj-Lebukhali Road.
